1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of Skylab Barber Lounge services, bookings, memberships, and website.

By booking an appointment, purchasing a service, or signing up for a membership, you agree to these terms.

This website and the Skylab Barber Lounge business are operated by Skylab Barber Lounge (Pty) Ltd, Registration Number 2026/237371/07, with its business address at 216 Beyers Naude Drive, Randburg, Johannesburg, South Africa.

Skynet AI Connect (Pty) Ltd, Registration Number 2025/148405/07, is appointed as Skylab Barber Lounge’s authorised payment collection and administrative agent. Payments made through this website, Payfast or associated payment links may therefore appear under or be settled to Skynet AI Connect (Pty) Ltd.

Skylab Barber Lounge (Pty) Ltd remains responsible for fulfilling customer orders and services and for managing appointments, cancellations, returns, refunds and customer complaints.

2. Bookings & Appointments

All bookings are subject to availability.
Clients are responsible for selecting the correct service and time slot.
Skylab reserves the right to reschedule bookings in the event of operational requirements or unforeseen circumstances.

3. Late Arrivals & No-Shows

Clients arriving more than 10 minutes late may have their appointment shortened or rescheduled. No-shows or late cancellations may result in:

Loss of booking
Deduction from membership (if applicable)
Restriction on future bookings

4. Payments

Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise stated.
We accept card, cash, and approved digital payment methods.
Prices are subject to change without prior notice.

6. Vouchers & Promotions

Vouchers are non-refundable and non-exchangeable for cash.
Promotional offers may have expiry dates and specific conditions.
Skylab reserves the right to withdraw or modify promotions at any time.

7. Refund Policy

Completed services are not ordinarily refundable merely because a customer has changed their mind or has a subjective preference regarding the result. This does not limit any rights available under applicable South African consumer law. Where a service was defective, unsafe or not performed with reasonable care and skill, Skylab will assess the concern and provide an appropriate remedy.
Product returns are governed by our published Refund and Returns Policy and applicable South African consumer law.
Consumer Protection Act.

8. Client Responsibility

Clients must disclose any relevant skin conditions, allergies, or sensitivities prior to services.
This information will be captured on your profile for safer services.
Skylab will not be held liable for adverse reactions where such information was not provided.

9. Liability

All services are performed with professional care. Skylab is not liable for:

Personal dissatisfaction based on subjective preference
Reactions due to undisclosed conditions
Loss or damage to personal belongings

10. Conduct

Respectful behaviour towards staff and other clients is required at all times.
Skylab reserves the right to refuse service to any client displaying inappropriate or abusive behaviour.

11. Hygiene & Safety

Clients must comply with any health or safety requirements in place at the time of service.
Strict hygiene standards are maintained.

12. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, logos, and materials associated with Skylab Barber Lounge remain the property of Skylab and may not be used without permission.

13. Privacy

Client information is collected and used in accordance with applicable South African laws, including the Protection of Personal Information Act.
Personal data will not be shared with third parties without consent, unless required by law.
